Direct Impact is Echoing Green’s innovative board leadership program created to transform rising stars of the private sector into highly effective board leaders of the world's most innovative organizations.
Direct Impact Criteria
We are committed to creating a dynamic and diverse group of individuals from a variety of sectors who will each bring a unique set of perspectives and experiences to the cohort. We are looking for individuals who:
- Have at least 6 years of professional experience
- Are currently employed in the private sector
- Are interested in deepening their engagement with the social sector through nonprofit board service
Cohort 9 Spring 2019 Accelerated Program Dates
The immersion program will take place in Kathmandu, Nepal. Applicants must be available for the entirety of the program. Participants must plan their travel to be available for all dates.
- May 6th through 11th 2019 (please account for travel time on either end)
Program Fees
The program fee is $8,500, which is inclusive of all on the ground activities, trainings, transportation, meals, and lodging. Airfare is not included. We encourage successful applicants to work with their employers to sponsor their participation. Limited scholarships may be available.
